Biography
I received my Bachelor of Education Degree from the University of Lethbridge in 1992 with a major in mathematics.
After completing my education degree I moved to Kelowna, B.C. and began my teaching career at Immaculata High School. I spent some of the time there teaching middle and high school mathematics and science. The remainder of the time at Immaculata I taught in an alternative integrated experiential program for students from grade 8-10. I gained many great experiences from teaching in this setting.
After six years in Kelowna, I returned to this area and started working for Medicine Hat Catholic Board of Education at St. Michael's School in Bow Island. I spent eight years at this school teaching primarily grade 7 through 12 mathematics.
Three years ago, I transfered within the division to begin teaching in the Learning Assistance program here at St. Michael's School. I feel very fortunate to work with both the students and that staff that are in the LAP classroom. I am excited to learn and experience all that my fourth year in this program will bring.
