St. Michael’s School Supply List
(These are the items your child will need next year for his/her grade level)
Kindergarten
1. one box of original wax crayons 16 pack (regular not chubbies)
2. two white erasers
3. four large glue sticks
4. two pencils
5. plastic pencil box
6. one pair running shoes ( for inside )
7. medium – large size school bag (some items such as library books do not fit into small bags)
8. one scrapbook ( Hilroy, coil binding, 35.6 x 27.9 cm)
9. one pair of scissors
10. two boxes of Kleenex
11. one package of pencil crayons(will be opened in January)
12. five pencils
13. one plastic duo tang with inside pockets
14. five large ziploc type bags
15. one pair of headsets for computer use

Please print your child’s name clearly on Every Item, now, as well as when items need to be replaced throughout the school year. This helps greatly in eliminating confusion and loss.

Grade One (Please label all items with your child’s name)
1. a pair of scissors
2. 3 glue sticks and one large bottle of white glue ( recommended Elmer’s 225 ml size)
3. 5 white art erasers

5. 1 large box of wax crayons
6. 1 package of pencil crayons (24 pkg. Laurentian) please bring sharpened.
7. runners for phys. ed. and indoor use – white soles, please
8. 5 duo-tangs (1 red, 1 yellow, 1 green, 1 orange, and 1 blue)

8. 30 HB pencils (15 in September, 15 in January)
9. 2 highlighter pens
10. 1 hand held pencil sharpener
11. 1 calculator(a simple functions solar powered calculator is acceptable. Please note that the calculator will be used in only certain areas of math such as some problem solving strands and will not be used in the basic mastery of essential math facts/concepts)
12. 2 large boxes of Kleenex
13. Loose leaf refill paper (200 sheets)
14. 1 pkg. of felt markers (thinner kind) for art
15. 1-2 pkg. of yellow (lighter coloured) square sticky notes (7.5 mm X 7.5 mm). These will be used in Language Arts.
16. Dry Erase Markers (Expo 2 thinner kind-comes in a set of 8)- for math
17. Rubber sole runners with good arch support and with laces for gym (white soles only)
